Did you know, schools were closed down for almost ten months due to the Covid-19 pandemic? Ghana's government has announced the reopening of schools since January 18th, 2021, for school children to go back to school by observing all the safety protocols.
Star of Hope Ghana has supplied thanks to donors like you, personal protective equipment to all six projects under the program to combat the deadly Coronavirus. The items include containers for holding water (Veronica buckets) and stands, liquid soaps, hand tissues, hand sanitizers, and contactless thermometer guns for use.
Pupils at all Star of Hope assisted schools are excited they are back in school to learn, meet friends, get the school lunch they enjoyed and needed. The teachers as well were happy they had awaited the school start and the lifestyle of all to return to a more normal level. This is all thanks to the Star of Hope family; folks like you.
All beneficiaries express their gratitude to all sponsors and donors for your continued support towards their education.
The academic calendar, which always started from September, has been changed to January - December. Therefore the children have started a new academic year which includes teaching the Gospel. These directives are by the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education service.
